Critical Infrastructure of America

Build What America Needs

Critical Infrastructure of America is a 501(c)(4) national advocacy and intelligence platform that exists to ensure the United States can build what it needs to compete and lead.

We envision a country where infrastructure powers growth and national strength with state-of-the-art data centers, energy, transmission, logistics, and various systems driving our digital economy, while making sure those projects are understood, supported, and approved at the local level.

The Challenge

Across the country, essential infrastructure is increasingly delayed, reshaped, or stopped altogether at the local level.

Not because it lacks value.

But because organized opposition has become more sophisticated, more coordinated, and more effective at influencing local decision-making.

The result is a growing gap between national need and local approval.

Our Mission

We help developers and investors anticipate, navigate, and overcome organized opposition, while positioning projects to earn support and secure local approvals.

We combine national-level strategy, research, and narrative leadership with grassroots execution that influences stakeholders, decision-makers, and outcomes where it matters most.

This is where projects are decided.

What We Do

We operate at the intersection of policy, public opinion, and project execution.

Our work is built around four core capabilities:

Research and Intelligence

We study and expose the modern opposition playbook, identifying patterns, pressure points, and risks before they materialize.

Narrative and Positioning

We shape how projects are understood, framing infrastructure around economic value, operational necessity, and real community benefit.

Strategic Advocacy

We deploy disciplined campaigns that engage stakeholders, influence decision-makers, and build durable support.

Local Execution

We ensure strategy translates into outcomes, where approvals are actually won.

Our Perspective

We believe:

  • Economic growth requires infrastructure that can actually be approved and built
  • Modern infrastructure includes data centers, energy, transmission, storage, and digital systems
  • Local voices matter, but they should not have unchecked veto power over projects with broader value
  • National narratives shape perception, but local engagement determines outcomes
  • Organized opposition follows patterns that can be anticipated and countered
  • Success requires both credible positioning and disciplined, on-the-ground execution

Our Role

Critical Infrastructure of America is more than an advocacy group.

It is a national platform with local reach and impact, shaping how infrastructure projects are understood, debated, and approved across the country.

Led by founder and president Patrick Slevin, CIA brings together thought leadership, opposition intelligence, and real-world campaign strategy to:

  • Shape the national conversation around infrastructure
  • Influence local stakeholders and elected officials
  • Move projects from proposal to approval with speed, confidence, and credibility

Why It Matters

America’s future depends on its ability to approve and deliver the power, digital capacity, and industrial systems that drive growth, investment, and resilience.

That requires decisions grounded in facts at the national level and outcomes secured at the local level.

We exist to make sure that happens.

If your project matters, the strategy behind it matters more.
